Week 3 Summer home learning!
Today is VE day and I know lots of you are celebrating. I have heard some of you are learning about VE day, making decorations, war time recipes and taking part in the 'street parties'. If you want to get involved there is a proposed timetable for seeing your neighbours from a safe distance. I would love to see some pictures of your celebrations to show on our blog for your friends to see.
I have loved seeing some of your learning this week....
Jessie's story plan
Jessie's story is definitely worth a read. Very enjoyable I know her friends will love reading it!
Archie and his brother doing some DIY
Esther and her family have also been making some great videos of things to do when bored.
Check out Mrs Woolies boredom busters
If you are looking for some other things to do next week:
Use masking tape to get straight lines to make the shining light. Investigate using wax crayons or pastels to blend colours, think about different shades. Add the drawing at the end.
Make a 'small world' in your garden. Tell stories and play.
Put masking tape on a piece of paper and paint each section. Peel masking tape off at the end.
Make some pop up art. You could make a pop art book.
Please remember that it is okay if home learning has not gone to plan this week. Everyone has good days and everyone has days that don't go as well.
Everyone is doing a fantastic job.
